Jersey Devil and the Flat Tire

The Jersey Devil lurks in the haunted forest as a person with a flat tire looks on in terror. This watercolor illustration was photographed and created by me; Sandy Sandy. It has minimal post processing and shows off the granular imperfections of natural pigments. Interesting color transitions flow and mingle in a soft organic way; like nature itself and only true watercolor paint can. This image was painted with real water; synthetic brushes and transparent watercolors on textured handmade rag paper.

Illustrations and photographs are printed on premium glossy photo paper with a weight of 250 g/m². Its smooth, glossy surface provides excellent clarity and sharpness, enhancing contrast and colour saturation, making it suitable for high-resolution photographs and images. The glossy surface has the advantage of being less susceptible to touch marks.

We offer many standard sizes, which you can also personalise to better combine with others. In addition to the standard sizes, we also offer perfectly fitting frames – to make your image complete!
